Good points Beth.

And thanks for your interesting comment, GOB. I had no idea we had that kind of control over nature. Makes me feel a little better.

 From everything I've heard, the Tsunami was terrible. And I agree with this. The Tsunamsis must, and will, be stopped.

Well, I've been quietly pointing the way to certain Christian charities (Samaritan's Purse, for example) in hopes that while they help, they can do a little conversion work. However, I have no illusions about whether anyone's going to start loving America any more no matter how much free shit they get. I heard on Fox today some guy saying that Osama-shirt guy "had to" think a little differently about the US, seeing how much our military and NGOs are doing for them. I'm not that optimistic when it comes to these bloodthirsty Islamofascists. Anyway, while I've been quietly pushing a few select charities, I've been sending my money elsewhere, to support our military and their families. I'm afraid people will think the tsunami donation covers their share for the year and not donate any more to other causes--and specifically, the military support ones.

As far as I'm concerned, the fucking Islamic countries ought to be putting up the lion's share of the relief money, since they go to the trouble to pay for Muslims to blow themselves up. And every dollar or riyal they send to Indonesia, etc. is one less they send to the fucking splodeydope Paleo-stinians. F.E.T.E.
