Religion of peace update

Some of the kindly missionaries from the Religion of Peace™ recently slaughtered an Trenton, NJ-based Egyptian man and his family for embracing Christianity and daring to go public with their beliefs.
The Father, Hossam Armanious, spent some of his spare time in Internet chat rooms debating about religion and speaking out against the Islamic persecution of the Coptic Christians in his native country Egypt .
About two months ago, when he made a comment in a Paltalk chat room, he was threatened.
“Some Muslim guys said if you don’t stop this, we’re going to come out and kill you,” said a family friend. To which he responded: “Here is America , I am free to say whatever I wantâ€?.
Armanious could not be more wrong. When he found out that even in America he was not free to speak his mind, it was already too late. He was stabbed to death, his throat was slashed and his entire family was butchered.
But amazingly, the media did not find this horrendous crime newsworthy. Except a few, none of them had any word about it. Not a squeak was heard from CNN; no mention of this on ABC, CBS or any other big media outlet!
You would think that this kind of mass murder – dare I call it a hate crime? – would receive a great deal of national attention. But, as usual, the Old Media isn’t about to call attention to the dark underbelly of their favorite religion. Instead (as Faith Freedom aptly notes), we’ll get to hear more about Michael Jackson, Amber Frey and the Golden Globe awards. God forbid we actually hear about the growing and very real islamofascist threat in our country.

Just wanted to make sure you were staying on top of this supposed Islamofascist hate crime– in case you didn’t hear, police arrested the victims’ upstairs tenant (a Christian) for murdering them in the course of a robbery.
I know it pains sites like these to admit that sometimes the supposed liberal bias in the media is, well, good judgment, but it’s important to keep the record straight. No hate crime occurred. I pray for the four victims, and hope the perpetrators are convicted and rot in jail for the rest of their lives. I’m also glad the Old Media handled this story wisely, rather than rush to an incorrect judgment as many conservative sites did.

Now look who is jumping the gun. The accused in this crime haven’t even been convicted yet. These are alleged charges in an alleged crime, right? I’m waiting for the convictions myself, but you can go ahead and reach whatever conclusions you wish.
You’re right, we should never assume that the Official Adopted Religion of the Left™ ever be accused of doing anything untoward. It truly is a religion of peace, and I suppose we’ll all eventually see the light on that one.
