The ascendancy of White Trash Vermont Socialist Howard Dean to the throne of the DNC is the best political news we’ve had in a long, long time - well, at least since Lurch lost the election.

This hate-filled lefty bigot is the best thing that could happen to the GOP for the next two elections. The country firmly rejected MichaelMoore-MoveOn.Org-blame-America-first-style politics in November, and the margin is only going to grow in 2006 and 2008 if they keep puking up the same tired talking points. As stability takes hold in Iraq and our troops begin coming home over the next few years, the pants-shitting left is only going to look sillier and even now teeters on the cliff of irrelevance.

So, to Dean’s backers and the power-brokers in the DNC, THANK YOU!

2. I get all my Iraq-is-coming-up-roses news from ABC, NBC, CBS and NPR. They let me know on a daily basis how there is barely any violence and the insurgency is nothing more than a wayward girl-scout troop with a few boxes of Snap-n-Pops.

   Is the White Trash Wednesday theme open to anybody? Down here in South Florida I got plenty of stories that would fit well with that theme.
