I think that you are right, Janette. I am told that the State Department regularly rotates its officers.

The only other explanation that I can think of is perhaps someone might have been getting close to discovering their identity.

I hope that they start writing again soon.

I think I read a few months back that they expected to be reassigned. I don’t know much more than that, they were always very tight lipped about specifics that might give their identities away.
