We have always argued and were proven right in the Reagan years that if you cut taxes on the top wage earners, you would actually bring in more revenue from them. Notice he was talking more about tax revenue, rather than a tax rate. Democrats want to "soak the rich" for political purposes but as we all know the best way to get more revenue from the rich is to lower their taxes and grow the economy. The richer they get, the more actual dollars they pay in. I still don't take back what I said about the Republicans. They definitely are not a fiscally conservative party anymore.
