A few blog-related housekeeping notes this morning.

First, the Sunday Night Poll is officially closed. And which self-aggrandizing, pat-each-other-on-the-back, nationally-televised circle jerk of an awards show most causes you to upchuck a river of bile?

Looks like it’s the Oscars – edging the MTV Video Awards by a nose. Thanks to all you fine folks who participated in this highly scientific survey.

Also, I didn’t do the usual WTW roundup yesterday. It wasn’t an intentional slight, I simply had to go out last night (yes, out in the real world, away from computers – egad!) and didn’t have time. Hopefully you got your fill of trash over at Beulah Mae’s, Eric’s, Dan’s and Sadie’s. You can visit all them fine folks on the blogroll here.

Additionally, I did a little blogroll shuffling this week. I’m trying to keep all the folks I really do visit every day on the “daily reads” list – even though there are several on the “crushes” list that I visit every day. They have to remain crushes though, because I’ve got such a terrible case of the blog hots for them. In fact, I’m almost inclined to invoke the words of Robert Palmer (RIP) and say that “doctor, doctor, gimme the news, I got a bad case of bloglovin’ them…“. Or something like that. Anyway if you’ve blogrolled me and I haven’t returned the favor, let me know and I will get that fixed. As long as you’re not a pants-shitting socialist liberal bastard.

I think that’s about it for this edition of blog housekeeping. Now I better go get some actual work done before I get sacked.
