That you find joy in other people's misfortune says alot about your character. I hope that other people are more kind to you one day when you have your own bad luck and run into hard times.

I'm sure anyone who has the time and money to run a weblog like this certainly isn't hard up for money and must be living comfortably. Maybe the rest of us will find joy when YOU lose your home.

Guilty conscience, maybe? Horrible.

It's interesting that all this California crap is being discussed on my Knoxville blog. Well, maybe not interesting.

And WSK, all the reports I read stated that there were no injuries and that these homes had been evacuated before the houses started going down like a Tijuana hooker. If you have some sources that say otherwise, let me know.

For those who didn't "get it," this post was a satirical look at class envy and how the typical Democrack "hate the rich" voter would respond to this pseudo-tragedy, deep in their shriveled-up, hateful, liberal black hearts.

Dearest Darleen,

I think we're saying the same thing here, or if not i'm just too drunk right now to tell the difference. And yet i'm commenting on this Tenneseean blog nonetheless.

We, as world-revolving-around-us-Californians, travel big fucking distances and/or long-assed durations in our vehicles-of-choice and think nothing of it. Be it on the El Toro Y (?) or on Pacheco Pass from Merced to Santa Clara. Or even Oakland to Excremento and parts beyond.

California traffic sucks our collective california asses. Your SoCal traffic more than my NorCal traffic. And for this, you have my utmost sympathy. Let us not fight, fellow Californian, but instead let us together whine at the rest of the nation who complains that they have to drive 30 mins to get somewhere at the posted speed limit.

And this comment made a lot more sense in my brain, so i'm gonna pass out right now with visions of the Monterey stripper who i met tonight in san francisco dancing in my head.

stay classy, Buffet

JJ

I don't know where you live, but in So. Cal we don't measure distance merely by miles but by time involved in the commute.

And trying to make it through the El Toro Y is a b*tch for anyone coming up from Laguna (Beach or Nigel) Mission Viejo, etc.

30 miles is some hop-skip-jump.

Laguna isn't the only locale to experience landslides with a more than double rainfall this year.

Rather than the almost annual specticle of parts of Malibu trying to emigrate to Catalina.

'course, then we're talking the Hollywood lad and lassies of the Malibu Colony crying on camera.
