Murderer Hangs Himself, Saves Taxpayers Money

Suspect in killing of 3-year-old boy thankfully kills himself in a Florida jail cell.
Matthew May was living with his mother and her boyfriend near Ocala, Fla.
The boy’s dad, Larry May, still lives in Clinton. He told 6 News about his son’s gruesome murder. “He was beat to death and he was scalded all over his body. His insides was all busted. He was beat to death and scalded,” May said, fighting back tears.
Reed, 28, was locked in the Marion County jail. But Saturday, when a prison guard went to check on him, he was found dead. Authorities say Reed hanged himself in his cell.
Larry May said Reed and Crystal May had Matthew and were on the run for four months. An Ocala newspaper reports Reed is a convicted robber who is wanted in Tennessee for parole violation.
The mother in this case should be charged as an accessory to murder – at least the killer had the common decency to end his life. If only more suspects would follow his lead, it would save taxpayers millions across the country and we could celebrate instantaneous justice on a regular basis.

Crystal May is going to have to compete with Maureen Faibish of Oakland, CA for Mother of the Year, however. Maureen stuck her 12-year-old son Nicholas in the basement to “protect him from the family pit bull” while she went out, and came home to find him mauled and covered in blood. Nicholas was unable to be saved by surgeons. To make matters worse, she blamed her son for his own death:
Before she left the house, Faibish sent her 9-year-old son to the store to buy Nicholas a soda, bagel and chips. He also had video games to keep him busy.
“Nicky was happy down there,” she said.

She talked to The Chronicle by telephone and later at her father’s home where, sitting on a couch and wrapped in a blanket, Faibish held back tears as she spoke about her son and the day he died.
“It’s Nicky’s time to go,” she said. “When you’re born you’re destined to go and this was his time.”
It was his time to go. This woman should be executed based on these comments alone. But it’s okay, she still loves her dogs…
After she battles with Crystal May for Mother of the Year, she can compete in PETA’s Animal Lover of the Year contest – sounds like the perfect candidate.

Yeah, that woman loves her dogs more than her children. It’s clear she was more concerned about the dogs mating than the childs death. She never blamed herself or the dogs, only blaming her mauled son. What a nitwit. Having to lock your CHILD in your basement to protect him from family PETS is screwed up. She should be locked in a cage with three starving pit bulls and see what it’s like. She should be put down.

preston, i read the story about the 12 year boy this morning i thought, i bet preston puts her in his wtw blog entry.
the sad thing about this story, it happens all too often and very rarely are the stupid parents blamed.

I know it’s lame that I’m coming in so late on this but I’m glad I caught it. I hadn’t read anything about the 12 year old (children in peril stories send me into a tizzy these days). Instead of being too distraught to leave my bedroom, I’m angry. Beyond angry. I can’t believe the woman would say simply ‘forgive’ her dogs that way. Sick. Just sadly sick.

RTG, nothing you do is lame, and that’s a fact.
These stories sicken me as well. In fact, they drive me into a murderous rage, which, luckily, I’m able to contain. FOR NOW.
