Love Letter to an Unloveable
August 4th, 2005 at 9:26 pm by Preston Taylor HolmesAfter reading yesterday’s WTW post about William Patterson University Womens’ Studies Professor Arlene Hopp Scala, my friend and part-time troll Leo Oshkosh sent her an e-mail of faux support.
Here is the text of his absurdly hilarious e-mail:
You did a very good job when you went after Jihad Daniel. Jihad was committing a holy war against diversity. People who promote discrimination should be punished. Also, he was not sensitive to your feelings about lesbianism and other such things like that. This is too bad for him.
Hopefully, if enough people support you, people like Jihad Daniel will not be allowed to teach. Then Mr. Jihad will be homeless. Ha! Ha! I could call Mr. Daniel a lot of bad names, but it wouldn’t do any good.
Good luck and thanks for enlightening the students at William Patterson University. When my girls get old enough, maybe they will be fortunate enough to attend that fine institution. Hopefully you will still be there.
Warmest Regards and Thanks Again,
Leo Oshkosh
To his surprise, he she responded:
I guess the only question that remains now is whether or not Mr. Scala was being as sarcastic in his her response as Leo was in his original e-mail. We may never know.
