A little housekeeping here at the Buffet. For the rest of the week, I’ll be in and out of touch and probably not blogging much. One of my regular commenters and Nashville curmudgeon, Smantix, has been given the keys to the blog and will be throwing up a guest post or two during this time. He’s been given instructions to either blog a lot, a little or not at all. Whatever he feels like doing, really. Smantix doesn’t have his own blog, but he did have a stretch as a guest blogger at Nashville Files earlier in the summer and did a great job.

This is a first here at the Buffet, so I urge you, dear reader, to embrace Smantix with the same level of uneasy discomfort that you do me. If he’s lucky, maybe he’ll be fortunate enough to take some heat from one of our Eur0SocialistSurrenderTrolls. Or if he’s really lucky, maybe he’ll get felt up by Feisty while he’s here. Welcome aboard, Smantix!

UPDATE:

In other blog-related news, the mu.nu blogs are down. This has impacted some of my favorites (My Pet Jawa, Ace, Fortnights, Annika). Rusty just reminded me that there is a backup Jawa here: My Pet Jawa backup site. Beth at MyVRWC has an open invite to mu.nu bloggers to post there as well. Hopefully mu.nu will be back up and running soon.

UPDATE 2:

Looks like Sadie Lou (from Fistful of Fortnights), who has been drinking all morning, may be throwing up some guest posts as well. So look out.
