The Religion of Peace™ – At Its Finest!
September 12th, 2005 at 12:05 pm by Preston Taylor HolmesIn yet another example of The Religion of Peace™ demonstrating that it has given the world NOTHING over the last thousand years or so, allah-followers burn down buildings, fire weapons into the air (always a brilliant move) and generally trash the Gaza Strip after the final pullout of Israeli soldiers.
“This is a day of happiness and joy that the Palestinian people have not witnessed for a century,” Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said.
At the former Netzarim settlement in northern Gaza, one of several places where crowds pushed past cordons of Palestinian police after the Israeli troops had left, thick clouds of smoke darkened the sky at dawn.
Men made their way around the demolished community on bicycle, donkey and foot, scavenging door frames and toilets. Some in the crowd tied the flags of the largest militant groups — green for Hamas, black for Islamic Jihad — around their necks as capes.
“It’s ours now, and I had to come out to see it with my own eyes,” said Raed Dashan, 29, of Gaza City.
Celebrating Palestinians set fire to the synagogue in Netzarim, and there were reports of similar torchings in Morag and other locations.
This is what happens when you put a silk hat on a pig. Do these cro-mags actually try and preserve a gift that was given to them – a gift that shouldn’t have been given to them – by seizing the opportunity to be seen as civilized human beings? Of course not. All they know is destroy, tear-down, annihilate, waste, kill.
Hey! Maybe we can give them all $2,000 debit cards while we’re at it. You know they’ll spend that wisely.

Rulers of Rubble
Who is there among the Palestinians to tell this youth that you do not create a new and better way of life by destroying, you do so by building? And that you do not build by tearing down your neighbor’s house and using his bricks, you build by creati…

Reminds me of that episode of Chappelle’s Show where he makes fun of what would happen the day everyone gets their reparations checks (e.g. KFC and Fubu would merge to become the world’s largest company after they posted record gains in the stock market).
Sigh.

Come on. Haven’t you all ever bought a house from somebody and to make sure they never moved back in you burnt it to the ground. Then sat in the ashes and complained about why you live in squalor?
September 12th, 2005 at 1:03 pm
The entire culture of Palestinians is sociopathic. But of course no one could ever admit that publicly, so we have to pretend they are oppressed saints while we keep funneling money into the nasty little terror-haven rathole they will make out of Gaza.

Mental exercise: (requires much imagination)
The U.S. is now a relatively low-tech country. For some reason many American Aboriginals, (1st Nations, Indians, whatever), have made a success of themselves in China and push their government for aid. They want their homeland back. So your grandchildren and all your friends grandkids are forcefully evicted from your town/city, and their kids grow up asking why they live in a little strip of hardly-arable land just north of Mexico. They’re told about the great restitution as the Chinese call it, and how when Canada and Mexico tried to help stop it even more land was taken, and now have to live, haunted by their eviction, and the memory of their ancestral fields, or office buildings or whatever.
It’s funny how squalor can lead to less civilized behaviour. So can feelings of resentment and oppression.
And your great-grandchildren would tear down the great longhouses. They would tear down the marks of their oppressors.
As a side-note, just like your forefathers burned the aboriginals villages long ago, and shot guns in the air, and did all sorts of other manly things.
Wise up people, your hatred shows a lack of compassion, which is the only moral form of understanding a situation. If you want people to improve their lot and behaviour, try acting, or talking, like you care they exist. As far as they’re concerned you’d all just as soon see them dead. The only arabs that seem to get any love are the ones helping us ship oil – the rest are not so strangely finding empowerment through “terrorism”. In the U.S. you’d call it freedom fighting, but then you’d never be so unmanly as to kill innocents, right? never a dresden, never a hiroshima, never a missed smart bomb?
not an apologist, i wish it would all stop, but at least we have the luxury of time and access to information to try to understand others – there is a strength that is greater than power or domination.
Final point – I think the truth is we either live in our society built on global and domestic inequality, fueled by cheap labour and resources, and can be happy for it only by preserving a very narrow world-view (the underlying perspective evidenced above), or we face up to our hypocrisy and in an attempt to create a peaceful world we no longer want more than others, more than our “share”, such that the resentments and hatreds dissipate.
But then we’d have to be almost Christian, and god knows there isn’t a real one to be found.

Preston, thanks for being one of the only SOB’s with the balls to speak the truth.

Israelis Pull Out Of Gaza, Palestinians Enter It Burn And Destroy Everything
In a show of how powerful they are the Palestinians entered Gaza after the last Israeli troops pulled out and began to destroy the synagogues and other buildings. Rather than using the resources that already existed they choose to grind…

James, you are delusional. If you really think that the Palestinians will somehow “transform” and step back from their wicked ways just because they get what they want, well, you need a serious reality check.
Their main purpose in this life (and the next ones, apparently) is to KILL THE JOOS! It doesn’t matter that they have their proverbial “homeland” back. It doesn’t matter that every single Jew has moved out of the Gaza Strip. It doesn’t matter that they have received 100% of what they asked for!
The violence will not end. And then what will your excuse for them be?
September 13th, 2005 at 10:45 am
Glen, plenty of other people are speaking the truth – Robert Spencer, Charles Johnson, Rusty Shackleford, Debbie Schulssel – among others, but thanks just the same.
And dsmith, you can’t really argue with someone as poisoned as James. When his logic is Hiroshima = 9/11 = Nail Bombs Blowing up Israeli Children in Pizza Parlors = Manifest Destiny, you know it’s a waste of breath.
You just have to let them have their fantasy of a utopian planet full of peace-loving Coca-Cola commercial clones. If we’d just gotten to know Mohammad Atta better, as Oprah’s O magazine suggested, I’m sure we could have found some common ground and understanding and avoided that whole little slaughter thing 4 years ago.
It’s idiocy and it betrays the intellectual understanding of a 7 year old. It’s not worth trying.

Why the emphasis on their religion? Christians have tortured, mistreated, and slaughtered eachother and others with abandon over the centuries. Why, they’ve even shot guns into the air and trashed the joint — would you headline any of that with “Religion of Love” sneers? Or do you just not admit any group of humans can behave badly, not just those you prefer to demonize?
September 14th, 2005 at 4:10 pm
geez thomas, so because christians once behaved badly it gives muslims a right to do so. get over yourself.
September 14th, 2005 at 5:16 pm
“Whoever is without sin among you, let them cast the first stone.” Now where have I heard that one? Why, from George Bush’s favorite political thinker!
“…once behaved badly” !?
September 14th, 2005 at 9:12 pm
sin? you’re going to say, as a nation who is under attack by muslim terrorists, we shouldn’t stand up for ourselves. we shouldn’t protect ourselves? well, buddy, i am proud to say blowing up women, children and innocents is one “sin” i haven’t been a part of. so, where are my stones.
