Any help would be most appreciated. Post in comments or email at sixmeat-at-gmail-dot-com.

Go with Hosting Matters. Highly recommended and WP friendly.

Hey Tiki – I’ve checked out Hosting Matters before and they’re a bit too rich for my blood.
Maureen, StartLogic has a $1/month special going – way too good to be true. Do you have any idea what the catch might be?

I can host you. Email me or AIM let me know what you need in the way of bandwidth. I am cheap.. in the very best way. I had a wp blog for a year so my server is friendly.

What can I say, Preston? With all the offerings and donations I get I’m richer than a creme brulee inside a Ferrari!
Seriously, think about quality service and constant connectivity when you offset the price.
And no, I don’t work for Hosting Matters. In fact, they work for me (just like everyone else who comes into my lordly Polynesian sphere)!

Thanks for your suggestions (and offers). I think I’ve found one. Blogging could be light (at least on my part) until I get things moved. Sorry.

We are hosted by ipowerweb.com, they are WP friendly as their original blog software was b2, the software that WordPress came from.
The bandwidth is about 30GB a month and it runs about $7.95. Their tech support is TERRRIBLE, but the hosting is good and if you are like me you handle most of the tech stuff yourself so it is just a annoyance occassionally when you have a question that is not in their FAQ. The only really annoying thing is they have a 50000 limit on user log in so we rotate the user account for the blog every few months.

We do the 7.95 thing as that way we are not tied in for more then a year at a time. Email me if you have any more questions, etc.

I don’t know the catch. I didn’t get that deal, but I’ve never had any problems with them in over four years.

Er, that would be three years.
