Israel Quits, World Peace Ensues

Al Qaeda has also released a statement that read: “As the entire world knows, the Zionist presence in our Holy Palestine has been the only reason for our existence. This is why we attacked the World Trade Center and why we murdered Americans in Iraq. It’s why we bombed Paris, London, and Bali, why we exploded buildings in Saudi Arabia, and why we enabled murders and terrorist activities in Thailand, Kashmir, Russia, Morocco, Nigeria, India, and the Philippines. But now, with Palestine returned to our brothers, all operations will cease. This is effective immediately and is irrevocable. We will now form The International Peace Corps and of course pay reparations to the non-Israelis who we murdered.”
Think about it – Palestinian children dancing arm in arm with Cindy Sheehan, Osama bin Laden laying down with the lamb, Berkeley Marxists buying condos in gated communities. Almost makes me cry.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but these people sound like spoiled, bratty children to me. For example, take a child who decides that he doesn’t want another child to play in a certain section of the playground. Say this other child is sitting nicely in her corner, taking up a very small area, doing nothing but offering to share her toys. And the spoiled child throws a fit, stomping on everyone else’s sandcastles, stealing their toys and saying that it’s the little girls fault. So, naturally, the solution would be to remove the girl from the picture, right?
Wrong. Israel has done nothing wrong. Israel has every right to exist. As soon as the Arabs acknowledge that, as Israel has acknowledge their right to exist, a lasting peace can be formed. Al Qaeda can say whatever they want, but there is no excuse for terror. They are the ones at fault, and nobody should be blaming the people they are pointing fingers at, especially when these people have been the biggest target of terrorism for so long.
