First of all, you may or may not have noticed the little bookmark icon that shows up in the address bar and in your favorites (when you add Six Meat to your Favorites, which you should…). I’ve heard it works pretty well in Firefox and some others – not so good in IE, but that’s what I get for using IE6.

That little icon is courtesy of Mr. Phin of Phin’s Blog. He was kind enough to do that for me in a fit of insomnia and I’ve been meaning to thank him – so thanks, Phin!

Speaking of Phin, he’s alerted me to a cool project – Operation Enduring Service. It’s a plan by the Beauchamp Tower Corporation to use retired Navy ships in relief efforts such as those directly after Hurricane Katrina. For more details, visit Phin’s blog and read up. Calls and letters to your U.S. Senators can help make this happen, so take a few minutes to at least send an e-mail of support for the plan to your “representatives” in the Senate.

On a self-promotion note, Aaron’s CC is putting together a deck of blogger cards, and I’m trying to get one of you bitches to nominate Six Meat as at least the 2 of Spades. Sure, we probably don’t deserve it, but it can’t hurt to try.

Also, Comments and Trackbacks.

Since I made the move to the new webhost, I’ve noticed that quite a few comments and trackbacks are being either held in moderation or classified as spam. I’ve had to do a lot of rescuing of comments and trackbacks from spam lately, so if you submit a trackback or comment and it doesn’t show up, give it some time and hopefully I’ll find it. If not, send me an e-mail to let me know to check. I’ve tried to whitelist all the folks I can as it happens.
