Surprise! Hostages Blame U.S. For Their Troubles

A nugget from the official statement from the “Christian Peacemaker Teams” website:
We are angry because what has happened to our teammates is the result of the actions of the U.S. and U.K. governments due to the illegal attack on Iraq and the continuing occupation and oppression of its people. Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) has worked for the rights of Iraqi prisoners who have been illegally detained and abused by the U.S. government. We were the first people to publicly denounce the torture of Iraqi people at the hands of U.S. forces, long before the western media admitted what was happening at Abu Ghraib. We are some of the few internationals left in Iraq who are telling the truth about what is happening to the Iraqi people We hope that we can continue to do this work and we pray for the speedy release of our beloved teammates.
As Rusty appropriately points out, these hostages are – or at least it appears so at this point – “the victims of Islamist aggression,” and we do hope for their safe return. However, as Vinnie points out, the group has been in Iraq since 2002. If they were there as human shields, they didn’t do a very good job.
Hopefully they can wage peace against their captors, resulting in their swift release.

As long as no US soldiers are used to look for them. Maybe Soros can kick in on the ransom

I don’t hope it goes ok for them. That Tom Fox guy from Virginia writes for the nutball site Voices In The Wilderness – which is about as Looney Left as you can get.
Let me go on record as saying that I think this is a ploy to get ransom money out of Euro gubmints to give to their terrorist buddies.
If they chop of their heads, I’ll be glad to say I was wrong.

Seems to me this ludicrous statement could just as well have been made by the moslem queers. hmmmm,,, Could it be that this is just BS? I suppose it’s a win-win situation regardless. If it’s BS, the left will again be exposed as liars and fools, if it’s not BS, then they still get what they deserve (chop, chop).

Just one more of the endless examples of the liberal mentality that says it’s the fault of everyone but yourself.

Typical liberal bullshit.
These dumbasses are wonderful examples of people that would fail the logic portion of the LSAT or verbal portion of the GMAT.
We are angry because what has happened to our teammates is the result of
a.) the actions of the U.S. and U.K. governments due to the illegal attack on Iraq and the continuing occupation and oppression of its people.
b.) the actions of terrorists due to the fact they physically kidnapped our people.
c.) President Bush sneezing.
d.) Alien abductions.
Yeah, C & D I came up with quickly, but I think you know the real answer.

or even better:
b.) US SENDING THEM TO IRAQ IN THE FIRST PLACE
