Mike, if it were only that simple. The Supreme Court’s Kelo decision said that the law is now on the side of the Politicians and the Developers who are tonguing each others’ dumpers while Joe Six Pack Property Owner takes it in the ass.

You can hire 1,000 excellent lawyers, but you’re still going to lose, thanks to the assholes on our Supreme Court.

What is horrible about this is that John Locke wrote that people form governments to protect the natural rights of “life, liberty, and estate.”

Jefferson changed this to “Life, Liberty, and pursuit of happiness.”

Thank you 5 liberal justices for undermining the very philosophical principles that founded this country.

The irony is that we call them “Justices” in the first place.

this is ridiculous. all 6000 need to donate $100 a piece and get a legal team. I’m sure these residents would all sell for the right price…which would be so high as to render the project not feasible…which is our economy’s way of saying the project shouldn’t happen in the first place. Its bad enough to grab land for a road. Projects like this…oh whatever, go to court
