Thanks for the lesson in how sarcasm should and should not be used.

Please keep us informed on how best to use other writing elements, parts of speech, syntax, etc.

I would hate for anything here to be disagreeable to one as intellectually superior as yourself.

* And I didn't bother to correct your spelling....

Sorry, but it is illogical for those who are opposed to the war to see these elections as bad news.

Here's the math.

Opposed to the war = want to get US out of Iraq

Iraq elections that lead to a stable democractically elected goverment = the US getting out of Iraq earlier than later

Therefore

Iraq elections that lead to a stable democratically elected government = good thing to those opposed to the war.

I frankly can't think of any American of good will - despite their political leanings - seeing the elections as anything other than a good thing. And moreover, the only people I see calling this bad news are, well, you guys... I know you're being sarcastic... but sarcasm really only works, in the long run, for professional wrestling, not politics...

Iraqi Elections

Well it seems that the worst thing possible for the those that oppose the war has occurred, the Iraqi people have turned out in great numbers, there has been little violence, and people seem to be embracing democracy and freedom.
