Judges Who Belong in Jail
January 19th, 2006 at 4:37 pm by Preston Taylor HolmesThere must be some kind of special job requirements to become a judge in New England.
It seems like, first and foremost, you must be devoid of any moral compass. Next, you must be a certified pants-shitting leftist heap of human debris, bent on further tilting the criminal justice system in favor of the criminal.
These requirements must have been in play for Judges Edward Cashman of Vermont and Suzanne Delvecchio of Massachusetts.
First, the case of Judge Cashman, who says that, because he questions the value of punishment without treatment, he saw fit to give a child molester a mere 60 days in jail for sexually abusing a girl (starting when she was 6) over a four-year period.
The Corrections Department had concluded Hulett was unlikely to commit another such offense, and Vermont does not provide sex-offender treatment to such inmates until they reach the end of their jail time.
I wonder which muddleheaded bureaucrat decided that Hulett was “unlikely to commit another such offense” despite the fact that he had already repeated the offense for four years. In addition, the Judge felt sorry for the poor man.
Well, then, by all means, don’t give him jail time, just set him free! Maybe he’ll pick up a gun, put it in someone’s mouth, pull the trigger and then wonder why people are so upset about it. With an under-developed intellect like that, Hulett would make an excellent DNC chair.
Vermont Governor James Douglas pointed out the obvious:
“When a grown man rapes a small child, justice is only served when the criminal is behind bars — for a long time — paying for his inexcusable crime,” Douglas said.
On to Massachusetts, a state filled with enough mental patients to keep Ted Kennedy in the Senate for decades, and the story of Judge Suzanne V. Delvecchio. This particular judge gave NO jail time to a kiddie-porn freak who (statutorially) raped a 15-year-old boy.
Gregory Pathiakis, 26, of Brockton, who quit his teaching job after school officials questioned his off-duty contact with students, pleaded guilty in Brockton Superior Court to one count of rape of a child, enticement of a child under 16, five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of harmful material to a child.
Judge Suzanne V. Delvecchio gave Pathiakis a suspended, 21/2-year jail term, followed by five years probation — rejecting the prosecutor’s plea for at least four years in state prison.
Pathiakis is also banned from working with children or any volunteer activities involving children.
Prosecutors said they were disappointed by the sentence but stopped short of openly criticizing the judge’s decision not to lock up Pathiakis, who is now required to register as a sex offender.
Now that’s a quality sentence. At least for Pathiakis.
I’m sure it’s only a coincidence, but World Net Daily reports that Judge Delvecchio served as Keynote Speaker at the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association dinner in 2000. (via Stop the ACLU)
I feel comfortable that the good Judge has no other agenda beyond dispensing unbiased justice in heaping bowlfuls to the good people of Massachusetts, no matter their offense.
So if you’re looking for some underage action – whether your poison is young boys or young girls – give New England a try. You’ll get off one way or another – and if these Judges are any indication, you’ll get off twice!

I feel as though our country is becoming this clogged toilet with no plunger in sight.
Preston, will you be that plunger and save us all? Will ya? Well…you, or Smantix, or Cranky. (Those name were written in no particular order. Okay, maybe Preston first…but only cause he’s Preston, and cuter.)

Heh. Nothing wrong with getting off twice:lol:
The real problem in my not so HO is the lack of knowledge of voters. How many twits arrive at the polls with no freaking clue of who they are voting for.
In some cases we have no choice who gets appointed to the bench, but we do have to consider all of that when we vote for elected officials. Become aware of who you are voting for, what their political persuasion can bring.
I was simply amazed working the last presidential election, the number of voters that would call asking what district am I in, who is my congressman. That is something that should be known before hand.
Parents need to teach lil Billy and Sally about being responsible voters. Maybe that will make the difference.

I live in Connecticut. Stopped going to Vermont when it fell behind The Beaded Curtain in the late sixties. What started as a simple wall of sandalwood incense and hash smoke ended with the sh**head Cashman. It’s worse there than you can imagine. The hippie culture produced ghouls and monsters, as it always does.
Massachusetts is even more strange. The only explanation is that no one there can free himself from the cement of Celtic ethnicity, and even family madness must be excused as long as the subversive lunatics bring home a bottle and a sausage now and then.

Well, it seems the people of Mass. are getting sick of, well, pretty much everything up there.
The U.S. Census Bureau states that Mass lost up to 4,000 residents from 2003 until 2004. Not a lot in the sense of larger state populations, but it’s a growing trend, as every year the populations have dwindled, even though Mass. is aquiring a larger immigrant population.

I’m just curious about the level of anger and misinformation on your site. You can find grotesque, horrible stories of what people can do to people anywhere. But for some reason you want to politicize it. Your first example concerned Vermont where there were 19.5 forcible rapes per 100,000 in 2003. In TN there were 35.7 per. I am not here to point out what stupid, evil, depraved monsters make up the heart and soul of TN. Why do you make ridiulous generalizations about other states?
The level at which you want to hold discourse about this country is destroying our country.

“I am not here to point out what stupid, evil, depraved monsters make up the heart and soul of TN.”
Why are you here?

If that child molester upon release becuase of this overly lienient judges gose out and molests another child then judge CASHMAN should be held totlay liable and responsible for the crime and sent to prison for 60 years along with the molester:mad:
