The lefties are as one would expect. The right is either just ignoring it all together or This political wound is self-inflicted and there's enough hunters in the Republican party that I don't believe half of them are going to say "oh, I shoot my buddies when we go hunting all the time". Would anyone's opinion on this be different if Whittington died? This should be the catalyst for a 2nd term shake-up. He's lucky the situation didn't turn out worse than it did.
