Several months ago I needed to get online. At the time AOL had me blocked....ummmmmm I get banned there often. I used my 18 yr. old sons account. Being one of those too intrusive mothers I checked out his favorite places. What I found was two sites, one on giving one on receiving oral sex. I didn't freak out. I simply left the name of the sites but linked them to stories from the Vatican. My moto........don't join them......beat the hell out of them. They will get the idea. She is 10 (5th grade). I unlike you do feel I can sway my daughters musical taste as I am a musician, a rock musician even and have had many years of what is good, bad or just fluff. I told her that it was possibly the stupidest song I had ever heard (which it is) and every time it came on the radio or TV I made fun of it and tried to make her laugh.
