Beer… Sweet, Sweet Beer
March 14th, 2006 at 8:24 am by Preston Taylor HolmesNorwegian woman discovers her tap water replaced with beer.
“I turned on the tap to clean some knives and forks and beer came out,” Haldis Gundersen told Reuters from her home in Kristiansund, west Norway. “We thought we were in heaven.”
Beer in Norway is among the most expensive in the world with a 0.4 liter (0.7 pint) costing about 50 crowns ($7.48) in a bar.
Gundersen said she tried the beer but that it tasted a bit odd and was not fizzy.
How’d it happen?
I don’t really have any commentary to add. I’m just busy fantasizing about Guinness™ flowing freely from my kitchen sink. It may not be as good for washing your hands, but it’ll damn sure cure what ails ya.

mmm…beer
I’ve bought beer in Norway. ONE BEER. It is unbelievably expensive. Luckily, we had a trunk full of cheap Danish and German beer so didn’t have to go without.

$7.48? Chinese beer sucks, but at least it’s cheap.
