Not a one on the list is evident to me. Giuliani might give it a shot based on his response to 9/11 popularity. From his "I'll show you a right wing tyrant" remark during the '92 primaries, to his bolting for the Reform Party which sounded it's death knell, combined with his funding of sites like antiwar.com and he will never, ever, ever garner more than 4% of the Right's vote. He may get a higher percentage in the primaries but he is thoroughly unelectable. Thompson, on the other hand, is immaculate. He guided Roberts to Chief Justice. Has a sound history and voting record. Name recognition. Can carry the South. Quick-witted and an excellent communicator. People may be nodding their heads towards darkhorses like George Allen but I don't believe he's going anywhere and Giuliani is too liberal. And that's that.
