Smack Attack
May 30th, 2006 at 12:15 pm by Preston Taylor HolmesToday’s Lesson: Know your heroin.
Another person died from a probable drug overdose, Wayne County health officials reported Monday, bringing the toll to 48 people who have died since May 19.
Even though the number was dropping from the multiple deaths per day, health officials aren’t ready to say the deadly overdose spurt is tapering off.
Toxicology results won’t be available for several weeks, but health officials say they believe the deaths have been caused by a dangerous combination of heroin or cocaine and the painkiller fentanyl.
If we’d only legalized smack, we wouldn’t have had to suffer the not-so-tragic-loss of 48 drug addicts in the last 10 days.

Or, if we legalized smack, the heroin purchases of those dead addicts would have yeilded thousands of tax dollars to combat the creation of new smack addicts…

Well now, it appears being a drug addict in America is more dangerous than being a soldier in Iraq. Wish all these Leftists would march against and protest drugs the way they protest the war in Iraq, since drugs seem much more dangerous.
Oh, so it is the Leftists who are abusing the drugs! Never mind.

Joe 80-90% of all heroin comes from one country, Afghanistan. “Wishing” for those on the othe side of the political fence to do something is perhaps not the most effective way of dealing with a problem. As for trying to determine the political allegiance of a hard drug user, that is somewhat problematical.
