But seriously…I am getting sick of these CAIR morons too. Can anyone find one…just ONE…time when they have formally denounced a terrorist act instead of simply trying to distance themselves from the act by claiming it’s not “true Islam?”

In other words, CAIR…just denounce the act, don’t try to claim that it isn’t your nutball religion that inspires the act…

People like this are being recruited in mosques in the US and by foreign islamic terrorists. They don’t just become brainwashed by chance.

Also, maybe it would be a good idea if CAIR files a lawsuit against bloggers so bloggers can serve Interrogatories on them and find out where their money comes from and goes too and what their function and activities are in the US. It’s not hate speech if it’s the truth. Yannow?

I’m wondering if Feisty has a point. Maybe this bunch are a kind of weird Nation of Islam cult that has few ties to “mainstream” Islam. Thirty years ago you could have said “Nah, nothing to do with Islam, these folks are just plain nuts.”

But these days, if [self-declared] Muslims are planning atrocities based on what’s become a popular, radicalised view of Islam, then it is a problem with Islam.

Most Muslims still don’t want any part of this crap, but it seems to me that radical Islamism has invaded to a greater or lesser extent most of the “mainstream” institutions of the religion – so “mainstream” Islam has to own this, too.
