I can’t believe you said “Panther” — isn’t that senior-citizen swinger code?

We are not “panthers.” We are Smilodons, or, as you common folk call us, “Sabertooth tigers,” though we are not tigers. It’s this innacuracy in reporting the facts that I’d expect from a Mammoth, Always blaming others for your own mistakes.
First of all, climatic changes over the past epoch have been relative, and there’s been little change from the temperature from the last Ice Age until now. In evolutionary theory, if a species of animal doesn’t have the mutation that allows it to survive, the species dies out. So, it has less to do with primates with pointy sticks or “panthers,” and more to do with your adaptive process.
It didn’t help that ya’ll were damn tasty, either. Man, what I wouldn’t give for a big, thick, side o’Mammoth. Them’s was some good eatin’ there.
