At issue is the mental capacity of a man who has only been convicted of killing 7 fast-food workers. He’s killed more. He’s only been convicted of 7. He was under investigation for the murders of 7 other fast food workers at a Palatine, Illinois chicken joint.

What makes a man crazy? Does he have to wipe his ass with his bare hand? Sling his feces at children while trying to play a Beatles CD backwards on a record player?

Because while Paul Dennis Reid is most certainly a 6′3″, thick-necked, psycopathic pituitary case, he is also a conniving murderer capable of employing pretexts to obtain and circumvent handgun laws, attempt to recruit others to rob restaurants with him, case an establishment before raiding it, act as his own counsel in an automobile accident case, steal cars, forge checks, get A’s in Community College and cultivate a 15+ year career of robbing restaurants and murdering their workers.
