The Chron was the first paper where I started sending letters to the editor.

Their mentality is still that they’re the only journalistic option. You get no response. The letters they do print, even negative ones are used to further the agenda.

For example, the only responses printed from Christans are from the little old lady types who say, “Well, it’s against God.”

With the exception of the truly conflicted “Queers for Palestine”, I agree. That snippet is just an inversion of the author’s Christians and Orthodox Jews line in the original. Figured I needed something equally asinine.

I certainly wouldn’t say that there’s a Pink-Green alliance. C’mon.

But there is a Red-Green alliance. (And sure, some of those Reds may well be Pink) Marxism – and particular Trotskyite Reds – believe in destruction above all, and they’re not too fussy about who they get into bed with – so long as it will destroy the established order. We certainly see that with the Stop the War Coalition and George Galloway’s Respect party.

Islamists, on the other hand, will take the help on offer. But no doubt their Red friends will be up against the wall first if they achieve their ‘mutual’ goal.

It all makes sense. And Bush hates puppies, too. Don’t forget about the puppies. D*mn that Bush administration and all those red-state bigots.
