David Horowitz provides one of the best big-picture analyses I’ve seen to date on the current Hizbollah/Israel fisticuffs.

He really could have left it at that and it would have been an excellent summary. Though many leftists deny we are at war, or idiotically refer to this as “Bush’s war” (all the while rooting for the other team), we’ve been at war for a quite some time. And while the islamofascists have been hitting us for years, it took until 9/11 for them to put us on notice that the war is indeed on, and we’re in it, like it or not. We have the choice of wetting our pants, burying our heads in the sand and hoping it will all go away, like Howard Dean, John al-Querry and Cindy Shitcan; or we can eliminate the threat.

Israel is in the process of doing just that – and to them I say, it’s about fucking time. All Israel has done is capitulate to the international community and continuously evacuate areas like Gaza and southern Lebanon – and what do they get in return? Continued terrorist attacks and rockets lobbed at their general population by a bunch of bloodthirsty jew-hating murderers in dirty nightshirts doing the will of their alleged deity.

And what of Gaza? What was the first thing the paleswinians did when they finally got the all-clear on the jew-free zone? They did the only thing they know how – they destroyed every damn thing that the Israelis had created.

Now, on top of the run-of-the-mill pizza cafe slaughters, both Hamas and Hizbollah have attacked, killed and kidnapped Israeli soldiers – which is, by any normal person’s account – an act of war.

Have the Israelis learned their lesson? Have they finally come to the conclusion (that many of the rest of us reached years ago) that the sole purpose of the U.N. is to give aid and comfort to the tyrannical islamic states who make it their primary goal to exterminate the Jews and destroy the immoral, freedom-loving West and its Great Satan? I’m not optimistic, but I certainly hope so.

Israel, check the Master Volume on that war machine and turn it up to 11. Take this opportunity to annihilate Hizbollah and Hamas. Let me be clear – I don’t mean give ‘em a sound thrashing. I mean destroy their infrastructure, destroy their Iranian and Syrian made weaponry and kill as many of them as possible. The world will be a much better place as a result.
