Though, being in the Armed Forces should not automatically disqualify someone. And, putting yourself on the line for the country should not be so quickly dismissed as similar to being on welfare. For many of the rank and file, once they leave the field and join the ranks of the officarians, it becomes a regular job like so many other government paying jobs. For instance, information technology, biologists, geologists, accountants, consultants, and even presidents. Well, as you say, Sestak is supported by Kerry says it all. The government paid for all his education including his Doctorate. The government supported him as a Navel officer for 36 years. He has NEVER been off the government payroll. Some can make the jump from being subsidized to real life, some can't. Joe Sestak can't apparently. The fact that Senator John Kerry and former Senator Max Cleland have both endorsed Joe Sestak says it all. Here is another guy who now says that a lot he did in the Navy was based on bad policy. If he disagreed and had any moral integrity, he would have offered to resign. Does it tell you anything that Little Joe was serving Director of Defense Policy during the Clinton administration?
