Beslan and Pubic Radio

September 1st, 2006 at 11:11 pm by Preston Taylor Holmes

It was two years ago that The Religion of Peace™ gave us the Beslan massacre. Yeah, I know I’m supposed to say “Chechen Rebels” or some other media-approved bullshit, but it is what it is – a tribute to the greatness of islam. That is, if you calculate “greatness” by the number of children you bayonet in the back in the name of your “god”.

The only good part is that only one of the motherfuckers who took the children hostage survived, and with any luck he will be tortured and beaten to death in a Russian prison before he’s able to serve his life sentence. The other remaining bits of good news are that “mastermind” Shamil Basayev is now resting comfortably in Hell with Mohammad Atta, while his felch-buddy Abdul-Khalim Sadulayev cleans up down there after they’re done.

And don’t forget to use the politically correct, government-approved term Chechen Rebel, because we don’t want to confuse you with the fact that they are actually – and like nearly ALL terrorists – muslim.

I was listening to local public radio here in Western North Carolina (where I’m on a weekend’s vacation) and heard some nauseating bilge. The first part of the story was a fawning interview with a female film-maker who had done a film about the Iraq war – fully admitting that she spent a full month in Iraq finding the “characters” who would help her push her anti-war agenda, which she had predetermined before ever setting foot on the desert floor. This didn’t stop the interviewer from giving her taint a verbal tongue massage that will probably last her several months at the very least.

The second part was a story noting the anniversary of the Beslan massacre – never once mentioning islam, but referring to “rebels” and “terrorists,” completely leaving out their eternal motivation. It was the kid-gloves treatment of the story – and their dismissive analysis of the history of (islamic) Chechen assaults on their neighbors – that caused me to finally turn the radio off. It reminded me once again why I have a self-imposed time limit of 5 minutes when listening to public radio. Fuckers.

NPR – Your hard-earned, government-wasted tax dollars at work for the purposes of distortion and propaganda. I prefer Sirius “Patriot 144″ and the backlash from the likes of Andrew Wilkow and Mike Church

  2. Smantix Says:

I caught a few minutes of Deutsche Welle tonight and they were doing the same thing regarding “Chechens” and one other sect but laid it on heavier in regards to the bungled Russian response.

In related nonsense, many local leftards in paleocon clothing have been waxing semantic (or at least cribbing discredited polemic notes from pay-for-play Doug Bandow) about that noxious word – “Islamofascism”. Or as they call it Islamic facism. It’s really just a self-fulfilling prophecy. So stop making Islamofascists by calling them that.

  3. Cindy Sheehan Says:

Now boys, you have the terminology all wrong once again. They are not “terrorists” or even “rebels”, but “Freedom Fighters”…

And they wouldn’t need to be fighting for their freedom if not for the oppressive foreign policy of George Bush…

  4. SinCerely Says:

Preston, only you can say “motherfuckers” with such meaning. ;)

  5. Preston Taylor Holmes Says:

Oh, that was the gist of the story, Smantix – it was about how Russia had bungled Beslan and the Theatre siege in 2002(?). What I neglected to mention was in regards to this dumb twat filmmaker. She said something to the effect of “I was at Iraq at the time of the Fallujah seige (by the US military)” and how we were “bombing Fallujah” – completely oblivious to the fact that the town had been taken over by islamofascists who had instituted islamic law in the town and had been torturing the local population. It’s just dumbfounding when you consider the twisted perspective of the hate-America-left types. They are completely insane and we’d be infinitely better off without them.

  6. Sirius Familiaris Says:

I heard that peice, too, on the way home from work yesterday. Perhaps if they’d looked at some photos of that atrocity before going on air with a nasty case of verbal diarhea, they wouldn’t refer to multiple incidents of Islamic mass murder as “tragedies.”

  7. Kevin Says:

I can’t believe you are blaming those peaceful muslims for what happened in Beslan. Everyone knows that they were driven to this action by Cheney. Or was it Karl Rove? Haliburton?

One sec, I’ve got to go look it up at DU, but I’m pretty sure the muslims were the good guys in the story.

  8. RTG Says:

I love when you get righteously pissed off. Excellent post.
