So there was this TV show last week. It was dramatized non-fiction kind of like Munich. Seeing that I prefer non-fiction to fiction, I wasn’t planning on watching it anyway.

But then the crazy people showed up. Led by Clinton’s dogged determination to forge a legacy, armies of hysterical kids were suddenly interested in the Truth and not just “getting to the essential truths” of a narrative.

All that said, here is the “essential truth” as to why Clinton fought the release of the Path to 9/11.

It’s not pretty. But the “essential truth” often isn’t.
