I’m just not liking New Pope. He doesn’t have that same fiery spirit as Pope Classic that burns in the belly. In the face of his recent recant about making the absurd claim that Muslims are prone to violence (who knew?), Somalian Religion of Peace™ practitioners sent a tersely worded response written on their bullets:

Somalia Gunmen have shot dead an elderly Italian nun and her bodyguard in the Somali capital Mogadishu.

The attackers shot the nun three times in the back at a children’s hospital in the south of the city, before fleeing the scene.

That took a lot of courage and I applaud our Mohammedan breathren for exercising such restraint against a geriatric hegemon and holding her accountable for comments she did not make.

It is unclear if the shooting is connected with strong criticism by a radical Somali cleric about the Pope’s recent comments on Islam.

Would it be clearer if she had been beheaded after being ritually raped and sodomized at mosque, while burning an effigy of the Pope and holding up signs that say “We’re Shooting This Nun For What The Pope Said”? Cause I’m getting the feeling that the International Cultural Diversity Police / Islamic Appeasement Task Force couldn’t find a hate crime against Christians if the body had a cross stabbed through it’s heart.

The nun, who has not been named, is believed to be in her seventies.

The nun was taken into surgery in the Austrian-funded SOS Hospital, in Huriwa district, but she died from her injuries.

A fluent Somali speaker, the nun was one of the longest-serving foreign members of the Catholic Church in Somalia, a former Italian colony.

A Vatican spokesman said the killing was “a horrible act” which he hoped would remain isolated.

25 years ago, a Turkish militant attempted to assassinate John Paul II. Pope Paul II famously forgave the indiscretion of lodging four bullets in his person. The as yet unnamed nun would surely do the same had she not died.

Had radical Catholics executed an imam with repeated shots to the back does anyone honestly believe that Islamic Imperialists would be appealing for calm?

If Benedict can’t fight back in the face of this aggression then Catholics are going to be under fire all over the world in the very near future. The fallibility of his policy of placating the Holy Caliphate crowd being one more example of the Pontiff’s fall from grace. Better still, if the Pope continues this catechism of capitulating in the face of unprovoked aggression – does Catholicism even deserve to exist anymore?

Continuing in this vein, the Pope won’t have to capitulate himself as the Muslims will be handing him and his followers their own heads.
