Try the Shoot-n-See targets, which show a bright yellow dot where the bullet hits. Makes an impression on the shooter.

And shooting soda cans filled with water, or “reactive” targets that move when hit, at outdoor ranges does indeed add to the excitement and the learning.

Good man. Taught both of my daughters to shoot, starting with a single shot .22 rifle. Get em used to the noise and feel, work em up to a killin caliber.

You feel better about having a weapon in the house because they know what they are. I’d be nervous as hell if they didn’t understand em.

So she wants to graduate to a Sig. Well Sigs are sexy but if a young lady is to be properly educated, she should be introduced to the classics. I would suggest a Browning Hi-power. Sure it’s a little heavy and single action but I’ve had one for thirty years and aside from a custom built Kimber, I’ve never fired a sweeter handgun.

I shoot every morning.Lately I noticed I pick up the .22s a lot. My Remington pump picks up golf balls at 60 yds. My ciener conversion pumps 10 rds fast. loud and powerful.
