Geektastrophe!

March 12th, 2007 at 8:17 pm by Preston Taylor Holmes

Well, yours truly is at an undisclosed location on the left coast enjoying all the trappings of the Bill Gates Experience™. The weather is fantastical and the booze is free. Let’s get on with the slide show.

First of all, there are too many damn people here.

But, how can you complain, when this is your view between sessions…

However, there are still too many damn people here.

Visualize the geek-out-lounge, X-boxes as far as the eye can see.

Would you buy software from a caveman? I would, but it would have to be one of the Geico cavemen.

Convention-center-based optical illusionary.

And last, but not least, the Buffet, Bill Gates™ style.

More news as it breaks.

  1. Smantix Says:

That would be the “Warren” Buffet. You get to see the huge spread but then you find out only one person is allowed to eat there.

  2. Feisty Says:

Bastard, I want to eat at the buffet….Hungry. No food in house. Want buffet. Buffet. Want. Eat. Buffet.

  3. Yiddish Steel Says:

Dude… You’re here in San Diego, and you didn’t call me, Holmes?! WTF?! You want the dossier on the downtown bar scene?! You better get in touch with me ASAP.

  4. Billy Says:

    Yiddish…you beat me to it…

Preston, let me assure you…showing that skyline, there is no way you would keep your location “undisclosed”.

Yiddish probably has a better bearing on the “bar” scene than I do, but I am sure both of us are willing to hook you up with the restaurant…and maybe a golf outing if you have time.

Oh yeah…sorry about this brutal weather…

  5. Jenn Says:

Welcome to San Diego. It’s hard living here what with all the perfect weather and beaches etc.

Hope you have fun while you’re here.

  6. Billy Says:

It was especially brutal today. I almost wrecked my car twice because I was distracted by babes on beach cruisers…

And I have a tinge of sunburn on my head from riding around Pt. Loma in a convertible.

How’s the weather everywhere else in Buffetland? Preston, you sure you’re gonna want to go home to Tennessee?
