It was that Mrs. Cobble quit reading 6MB because it didn’t like my writing style.

Specifically the confrontational nature of it.

Of course, Mrs. Cobble also thinks that the NiTwittery isn’t really a leftwing clearinghouse too.

That’s true. I don’t. I think it’s very left-leaning, but I guess I’m willing to let that slide in favour of having both conservative and liberal friends who participate in that community.

That was some time after the check cleared.

Yes, they paid me last year. It was about $400 total. No, that didn’t sway my opinion at all.

I HAVE done several full and partial days for them without pay, however, just because I enjoy the community sense of it.

And I still stand by my whole “liking you as a person” thing…

Rosie’s moronic rants are not harmless.

I would tend to agree with that wholeheartedly. I think she’s got a lot of people who think she’s intelligent merely because she appears on television. So they take her underinformed opinions as gospel and use those opinions as a base for their own philosophies.

Why should we care?

Here’s why.

5 days a week, this horrible excuse for a human gets a platform to spew this kind of crap. Who is watching? For the most part, the uneducated and jobless.

And these people can vote. Sure, many are too damn lazy to get off their couch to go to the polls…but enough do.
