Moore’s agenda has been to capitalize on public issues. Health Care is not his issue, it is just another of his movies.
The enamoured media have fallen under Moores power and participates in his self-promotion.
They overlook the bigger story.

It is just amazing that Moore would turn on Jim Musselman and Ralph Nader who both did so much for him.

Watching the mileage Moore is getting from this, I’m inclined to agree WEVS1. It seems like a deliberate provocation designed to garner attention and rekindle the “little guy vs. the Bushies” thing.

It’s not harrassmnent. A license is required for all U.S. citizens who visit Cuba. And the licensing procedure is very simple:

I think the whole stink was intentional on Mr. Moore’s part. Say what you will about him, he’s an expert in self-promotion.

The sicko is the guy who gets paid millions to spout anti-American propaganda and then exploits 9/11 victims by taking them to Cuba for free healthcare while his bankroll is sitting fat and none the lighter.

Maybe they signed away their dignity over breakfast at Denny’s.

Sharon, before US filmmakers and journalists go to Cuba they must obtain proper licensing. Moore failed to do that.

Ridiculously, he applied under a “journalists” license. That would be like Dr. Kevorkian describing himself as a “health care provider”.

Moore is not being “persecuted”. He should be “prosecuted” however. He selectively chose to ignore the law. I guess we should all have the flexibility to determine which laws we can obey and which we can ignore.
