Over at Hot-Air, Michelle Malkin’s latest vent is about Knoxville’s own black-on-white hate crime from several months back. Whether you know the story or not, you should watch it.

It’s not as good as Smantix’s coverage, but at least it’s getting some big blog play. We already know why the Old Media is ignoring it - the only crimes they trumpet are white-on-black or white-male-on-gay.

1. Screw this entire hate crime angle. I don’t give a crap about the color of anybody’s skin. What happen to those two college students comes straight out of some sick, perverted horror/slasher novel. Those sick animals should be summarily tortured, repeatedly, in the most painful ways imaginable, resuscitated if necessary, for as long as possible. And then, when its obvious that their minds are gone, and thus feeling no pain, THEN a .22 to the head to end their worthless lives. 2. I second your motion, DA. I only refer to it as a “hate crime” in mockery. If this were reversed, that’s exactly what the MSM would be calling it. “Hate crimes” don’t exist except in the mind of the politically correct distributors of such nonsense.

   You would think that the anti-torture crowd would have been all over this story too, except that when the torturees aren’t brownskinned, the torture is A-OK.

3. I would have put something better together for it but there was absolutely nothing out there media-wise.

   Malkin’s got the means and the wherewithal to get this story in the spotlight. Interview the family. Hell, interview the crooks!

   They’re too stupid to not talk. Or their families. Five of them committed these crimes. One of them is the weak link who will talk for what any of us would consider a negligible concession.

   This is Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Matthew Shepard, James Byrd and Natalee Holloway rolled up into a glad bag, set on fire and dumped on the steps of the Mainstream Media. And every day their silence pours another bucket of water on it as they walk past it on the way to their cars.

   It does no good to go on TV and complain about “the media” when you have the ability to be the media on this one. Have Hot Air do the story. Have Michelle put in on Fox.

   I get hits from that post every single day from people just finding out about it for the first time and they’re searching blogs for it because the story has been muted everywhere in the mainstream.

   If you don’t draw attention to this case, they will let them walk.

4. I really need a break from thinking about this thing. The whole empathy sector of my brain in in overdrive with this case. There are certain thoughts that aren’t conducive to a good night’s sleep, and imagining what that poor girl went through for four days in my own city is a prime example of those kinds of thoughts.

   Unfortunately, I read Michelle Malkin and Lashawn Barber at 10pm last night, and also spent a lot of time fantasizing that Hell would just open up and slowly swallow these kinds of thugs alive, so my kids could live in a safe world where people don’t get carjacked, raped, tortured and murdered.

   Then my eyes finally closed about the time hubby hit the snooze button.

   I just imagined it was my children that suffered so horribly. The rage I feel towards those people… They are a group of sub-humans that I refer to as “predators”. They are the lowest form of filth, they went above and beyond the call of duty in their depravity and desire to inflict as much harm and pain upon another human being, for what? Their own sick perverted need to have power.
   I doubt that Christian and Newsome would have willingly gone to their deaths had they known what awaited them. But that is what we are taught. Just comply, and you’ll be allright.. or atleast you’ll be alive.

   One question, were these five animals doing drugs that helped to heighten their insanity?

6. Michele, I am so sorry this is pervading your sense of safety. What a terrible, terrible crime…perhaps one of the worst I’ve ever heard of.

   We know the MSM has ignored this story outside of Tennessee. I wonder if Al and Jesse will be by the side of these animals when they are sentenced to the death penalty.

   Assuming of course they are guilty. Cuz there’s that innocent until proven guilty thing, ya know.

7. The thing is, these people didn’t become animals with this one act. Chances are each one has a well-documented history. Chances are their family and friends knew exactly what they were capable of.

   When you think about the worst killers, it’s usually a loner or a duo. Leonard Lake, Charles Ng - people like that.

   This is so unique because of the number of people involved.

   It’s been four months. The buzz has surely worn off. And somebody has a lot of explaining to do.

   For a crime where the evidence is going to be overwhelming, there is no reason why any of the family members of these victims should have to show up and deliver victim impact statements year after year while the murderers file endless appeals. No one fears the death penalty if they are ensured free food and health care for 25 years.

   Who was ever 20 and thought they would never make it to 30? or 40? or 50?

   In the world you can die in an auto accident, slip in the bathtub, fall down a flight of stairs. Getting sentenced to Death Row is like Rip Van Winkle. Wake up a lifetime later and all of your enemies are dead while a bevy of fresh, young liberals are laughing off whatever nastiness you did or didn’t do. Who knows? It was so long ago.

10. Michelle is en fuego! In this morning’s “Vent”, she exposes more MSM selective journalism.

    You would think a liberal media would be all over a story about the terrible abuse and molestation of a teenage girl and would tear apart any church who might cover up such abuse. Unless of course it the church of liberalism.

14. Always like your straight forward reporting. I’ve sent this murder/rape black on white report to O’Rielly, Dick Morris, Glen Beck and Shawn Hannity with no reply. Does any media care about this problem? I’m disapointed with Fox News over not reporting this horror. Sharpton and Jackson are hypocrites. I can’t believe people listen to them or the Clintons for that matter, same people I guess.
