I wonder how these firms/partnerships would appreciate the global marketplace if it was the lawyer pool getting flooded by H1-B’s? Someday I hope they’ll be needing rescuing, and I’ll toss them a lead-filled life vest, with a lead liner, painted with lead-based paint… attached to an anchor. Then I’ll do something mean.

Now I can’t be selectively pro-globalization. What is good for the goose and all that. But this is pure b.s.

In my office as I type this, I am the only North American born work in my group. There are three Indians, two Chinese and one Israeli. If I were to add in the consultants, the number of indians would go up to five.

Is this bad? No way. These are talented and educated people.

However, I am constantly lamenting the lack of American born people in IT, if only because projects go much better when your co-workers have command of the English language.

But these slimeball lawyers are actually helping to exclude the few existing qualified U.S. workers.

I guess if there is an upside, the law firm of Jacoby and Douchbag will help me sue somebody when I’m unemployed and need the cash badly. Maybe I can sue a CEO or something.

Now I’m pissed.
