All I have to say is that Sammy Haggar rocked, and David Lee Roth is…well..teh ghey.

Funny thing is I loved Van Halen and I saw Hagar in concert about five times. After Hagar joined Van Halen, I liked neither.

I woke up this morning with Van Hagar’s Black and Blue in my head and had to crank that bitch up to 11…
Can we please, please turn this into a Van Halen tubing thread? Please? Can we get permission from the boss man?

It worked on you, Cranky.
I am not a Van Halen/Van Hagar elitist. I enjoy the music of both incarnations. So all you DLR vs. Sammy peeps are just polarizing Van Halen Nation. Knock it off and let’s be a united Van Halen Nation.
Cranky, if you are not going to step up and announce a Van Halen tubing thread, then I am just going to hijack the thread. Let’s Tube…we haven’t in quite a while.
My favorite Van Halen song. Of course the studio version is better than this live version DLR tried to rush through…

My bad, Nigel. Please feel free to Tube away. I don’t think many other bands took advantage of MTV quite like VH and later DLR did.
