How insular their world must be for them to speak and think in such terms. Gawd, put aside the white guilt, get a job, work with an African-American. You’ll find that they’re just like everybody else.

Another thought: all of these people concerned over how the cover would offend blacks have already put forward the racist idea that blacks would see themselves reflected in the face of the gorilla. And that these poor black people need to be protected by white America like some kind of endangered species. These idiots are such sanctimonious racist pigs and they don’t even know it.
