Absolute Moral Authority

I found this comment over at Bill Hobbs:

You know much of what the Kos Kids come up with is merely amusing in its lunacy. I grew up in the Soviet Union and I know first hand the great things that Ronald Reagan (for full disclosure he is my political hero) did. To equate the son of the town drunk, who grew up to be an actor head of SAG, Governor of California, and finally one of our greatest Presidents, and truly the epitome of the American dream, is frankly when I, myself, take their hate personally.

It is not enough that they attack living political opponents, but for them to try and rewrite history, which no doubt will be quite kind to Reagan, in a slanderous and wicked attempt to create moral relativism, is when they have gone from amusing to unacceptable.

This diary will be made known and Kos will be exposed for everyone to see.

The comment was made in a post about a Kos Kid likening Reagan to bin Laden. Ho hum. The outrage factory lost its edge about 2002. It hopes to provoke and only succeeds in sounding like a child’s taunt.

But I’d like to turn your attention to the comment. It belongs to a blogger named Michael Volpe, who as the comment indicates, grew up in the Soviet Union.

Reading this first hand account from someone who has been through the predations of Communism really shows what shallow poseurs the Castro fawners are.

Having worked with many Russian Emigres, I’ve heard this story many times over.

Kinda reminds me of that lone dissenter in the Madison, WI City COuncil last week who called out her fellow Council Members regarding their move to call for the impeachment of Dubyah. She grew up in Vietnam and lived through the scourge of the Commie take-over. She basically told her fellow City Council Members to go get f*$$#@ on account of their clulessness.

Exactly what I’m talking about.

One hopes deep down, that the People’s Collective of Suburban Springfield feel a twinge of shame or even better, a slight awakening.

Shame? Awakening? Surely you jest. These people have their heads up their asses and they LIKE IT!

I beg everyone to read The Reagan Diaries. It is a fascinating look at how a REAL President operates and is some of the most inspring accounts of the time.

We haven’t had ONE real President since Reagan, and I doubt we ever will. Fred might come close though, but Reagan was a true American Patriot who didn’t take crap from anybody and somehow managed to get everything he wanted just by being a real likeable, Presidential man.

He will always be my one and only hero.
