The Republican Party has become the most corrupt, least compassionate and most out of touch political party in the US since Nixon took power.

They are so out of touch that there is nothing they will be able to do but stand around bewildered while the Democrats take the presidencey as well as more seats in the house and senate. Seriously, unless you all wake up, by next fall you will have no power left.

Limbaugh-esque blogs like this only magnify the cocky, out of touch sense of reality that “Neo-Conservatives” hold to so dearly. Quit talking down to people and start trying to actually educate people about reality… not one-sided, close-minded, completely biased editorials.

This editorial is so filled with Neo-Con cliché comments like “How’s that for patriotism!” that I feel bad for using the word “cliché”… I almost forgot, you must hate the French. That seems to be one of the pre-requisites to be an out of touch modern Republican.

I had voted republican all of my life until Bush Jr ran for office. To all of the Neo-Conservatives I would like to say:

Thanks for ruining a once great Political Party.

I am so tired of hearing about nationalized health care. Health care costs is wildly rampant because the entire industry is focused on keeping people on drugs. I both don’t go to doctors and pay for health care. the health care i pay for doesn’t pay the entire bill, especially dental care (which pays nothing, zero, in my experience) but i know if it becomes national, i will be paying much much more in taxes than i do paying for my own care, by myself, for myself, because i spend enough time and money taking care of myself, i can’t afford to waste it on the drug addicted victims that don’t realize the health care they are receiving is meant to keep them on drugs; meant to keep them receiving perscriptions paid for by me.

I make twice the national poverty line and can’t even afford a place of my own as it is.

Exactamundo, E-poquito! We live in a nation of mediocre minds, too lazy to understand the concept of “WANT vs. NEED”. I work for a company that offers an HMO plan that is very limited and basic with ample co-pays and deductibles. But, the company I work for offers their employees the option of their own PPO if the employee is willing to pay for it. I am happy to pay for the helthcare that suits me and my daughters best, and that is the PPO option that I pay for out of my own pocket. I choose not to own a 45″ flat-screen plasma TV w/ surround sound, or live in a 3500 sq. ft. abode with a fat, jumbo loan to pay, or drive a “status car”. I choose to live beneath my means, like anyone else can and find that they can afford healthcare and still have plenty of money left to enjoy some of the “finer things”. It’s laughable that these unions and liberal front groups will waste $5 million to promote the entitlement mentality of their useful idiots that think the U.S. Government owes them healthcare.
