Amnesty? I had forgotten there was a world outside of San Diego…

Though I am saddened by the news, apparently 4 illegal aliens were found charred to a crisp in Potrero today. I have no problem posthumously granting amnesty to them.

The DREAM Act would provide 360,000 undocumented high-school graduates with a legal means to work, and could provide incentives for another 715,000 youngsters between the ages of 5 and 17 to finish high school and pursue post-secondary education.

One can only laugh at those numbers. There are that many and more in California and Georgia alone, each. They never hint at the true numbers unless they’re deliberately trying to scare the politicians.

I was perusing The Comical Appeal the other day and the lead story was entitled “Immigrants Find Way into Memphis Economy”. Once you really dig into the story you realize what’s really going on.

Of course their concern isn’t really the legality of the temporary workers but whether or not they are being taken advantage of.
