Petty did not announce a San Diego stop because there may not be a concert venue thanks to Coors pulling their sponsorship of the Ampitheater down there.

So unless that gets resolved, my only Petty concert this year will be at the Hollywood Bowl (already have tix)…not a bad place to see him (already done it).

Holmes: Belicheck left the field w/ :01 to go because… because… well, because he’s an asshole… in a short-sleeved, red, hooded sweatshirt, with the f*&&!% roof closed on the building (0.0% chance of inclement weather). An ASSHOLE I SAY! Nigel: Petty is going to squeeze in 7/21 for San Diego (between 7/20 – Phoenix & 7/23 – Irvine), bank on it. I’ll be there. And if you want more Martha Quinn, listen to Sirius channel 8 from 9a – 1p M-F (PST).

Man I’m glad the Patriots gagged. Belicheck is an uber-douche!

I saw that Obama commercial. I was waiting for the ad to say “Fluffy bunnies & Unicorns approve this message”.

I was going to nitpick about the Nirvana/Tom Petty comment, but then I remembered that Tom Pettys “Full Moon Fever” came out the same year Nirvanas “Bleach” did. I’m not sure too many know about “Bleach” though.

Don’t use that packaged-for-mass-consumption production today as any indication of Petty Free-Fallin’ from Rock God status. Do yourself a favor and catch his show when he comes to Tennessee this summer.

Me? I already have my tix to see him at The Hollywood Bowl in June.
