“1 Down 4 To Go” In Christian-Newsom Murders
April 17th, 2008 at 7:59 pm by BrianSo says the father of one of the victims. I’d be happier if it was 1 down and 5 to go.
Meanwhile, the local NAACP stands in solidarity with the first one convicted. They’re “not taking sides” though. They’re “just there to listen”.
You want to not take sides? Start by not lending what little credibility your organization has left by hanging out with the families of the murderers. For starters.
Meanwhile, the convicted’s brother has no qualms about playing the race card in this intentionally underreported hate crime:
“He didn’t actually kill nobody. He’s just there basically at the wrong time. He didn’t know these guys,” Boyd said.
Anthony says Eric Boyd only knew these guys from basketball games, even though Eric admitted in a taped interview to smoking marijuana with the Lamaricus Davidson.
Well, yea. That’s what an accessory is. He didn’t kill anybody but he helped hide one of the murderers for days after he knew what happened. He goes on to say that his brother just “got mixed up with the wrong crowd”.
While Eric Boyd was born with stoic silence, his younger brother is apparently endowed with the gift of understatement.
“I’m not bringing up race or nothing, but it also was a white girl involved in this case that media knew it, everybody knew it that ain’t in jail. My brother’s in jail, she’s not,” Boyd said.
By all means, let’s not bring race into this. And then bring race into it. Let’s give the “white girl” involved in this case the same excuse you just used for your brother – wrong place, wrong time.
How does that sound? Having said that, yes, she should be perp-walking with the rest of them.
Mind you his brother, this poor soul benighted by time, space, and circumstance, is a mere 35 years old and has a history of armed robbery as well as being implicated by the rest of the perpetrators.
The trial offered the first glimpse at what has been a case cloaked in secrecy, revealing for the first time the execution of Newsom and the savage sexual attack of Christian.
Have you ever seen such restraint by the media before?
Three points as this justice deferred quits being justice denied:
1) The Supreme Court has effectively lifted activist Judge Aleta Trauger’s specious statewide moratorium on the death penalty. If you’re sitting on Death Row or are thinking about it, be ready to get up to date on your shots. And for Christ’s sake let’s end this farcical “commission” that’s nothing more than an amalgam of defense attorneys and outspoken anti-death penalty advocates feigning neutrality and attempting to overturn the Will of the People ™ and the Supreme Court.
2) That “Stop Snitching” campaign really reached their target audience.
3) Expect to see one of our old trolls (who goes by many names) hijacking these people’s tragedy to make all sorts of fraudulent claims. He was and has been effectively upbraided by Undercover Black Man so do well to remember that when you start seeing that name spamming up your comments threads if you post anything about this horrible story.

Trolls? You got trolls here? Who could you be speaking of?

I’m I the only one around her who thinks a lynching might be apropriate here?
What?

Eric Boyd knew too much to just have been an accessory. He knew Christian and Newsome had kissed right before the carjacking took place. He’s one lucky son of a bitch, and will probably be sent to what I’ve heard referred to as a “summer camp” prison. I have become friends with the sister of one of the victims, and she toured the place Boyd would be staying a few months ago. No justice.
She believes the Sutton girl was much more closely involved too. She received Channon’s clothes and jewelry from Boyd while at the house on Chipman street, where Channon lay dying. Sutton should be tried as well. I don’t believe this assertion of ignorance. She knew something was up and she kept it from police. She is the niece of a police officer.
On a side note. The families of these victims are truly amazing people. I am in awe that they continue to make it through day to day.

Dahmer got killed while in prison. Hopefully Boyd will as well along with the rest of the defendants.
It’s the Criminal’s Justice System. There is no justice in this state with Phil Bredesen in charge or Aleta Trauger on the bench or some of these subhuman anti-death penalty advocates who litter this state.

This world is so sick. People will campaign to starve a woman to death because she is a “vegetable” and a strain on her husband, but we will let brutal murderers lounge away watching cable television and getting free meals for the rest of their lives.

That’s putting it nicely. As I’ve said here many times, after all is said and done, 5 years, 10 years, and 20 years down the line, our liberal cohorts will be trying to get them released from prison on a technicality.
They can’t help it. It’s who they are. They’re evil.
We saw it with Sedley Alley. We saw it with Robert Glen Coe. We see it with James Jones, Harbison, Pervis Payne, Paul Dennis Reid and the entire laundry list of depraved Death Row convicts using complicit liberals to drive up the cost of keeping them alive through the appeals process.
I wish I had more faith in this system but I don’t. The death penalty is not a deterrent when it’s not used or if it takes 30 years to administer it.
Tell your friend that there are more people sorry for her loss than she knows and that we hope they are strong enough through this painfully long and cruel process.
The defense attorneys will taunt the families as will their clients and their families.
And then I read about Boyd mouthing “Bring It On” to the victim’s family when the case first started. Poor, innocent Eric Boyd. Such filth are not capable of remorse and should be destroyed as an example. Swiftly.

The only hope for justice is a long prison stay filled with an assortment of rape and abuse followed by some gruesome and painful jailhouse death, because the pro-criminal element in our state justice system will do all they can to prevent any possible death penalty from being executed. I’m not holding my breath either.

May the ghost of Carla Faye Tucker put a hatchet into frontal lobe of each and everyone of these murdering, raping, conspiring and abetting scum-bags.
