Queen Laura, Lady of the Blessed Checkbook in response to the cyclone in Burma:

“I’m worried that they won’t even accept U.S. aid.”

You take my tax money and promise not to divert those funds to enrich your cronies and military junta this instant.

I suppose there are worse things to worry about than countries rejecting our aid but I prefer that to the obscene funding of ungrateful piglets suckling at the largesse of our national teat and then badmouthing us.

Don’t just give our money away – buy something with it. Like loyalty.
