Sean, it was a category 4 storm, meaning while strong, it is hardly unprecedented.

It was more the location of the storm, hitting a near sea-level river delta that was highly populated (sound familiar?) that turned a regional weather event into this horrible mess.

So yes, some scientists say yes, some say no, but Gore has climbed on that mountain of the bodies of maybe 100,000 dead victims, to score a point for his pet cause, on something that at most can only be conjecture. It's sick.

whoops.

well, the comment was floating out there in a vast sea of dumb, so i figured i'd give it a place to sit and dry off for a little while.

sometimes i am too sympathetic to the simple.

The scientists also predicted we would be flying cars by now. They also predicted Fission power in every home.

They also predicted we would be at peak oil in the 1970's. They also predicted a global ice age in the 70's.

To blame man for a storms strength and path is utterly absurd. It takes the power and authority away from GOD.

we’re seeing consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming

What is incorrect about this statement? Have not scientists theorized that storms like these were a possibility?

Maybe if he would stop flying personal jets to global warming conferences that would have limited the death toll.

-This guy is a friggin vampire that just spews crap out of his mouth to keep himself politically applicable.

And notice that the evil revenge for befouling the planet fell on a corner of the place that was supposed to be given a free pass according to the Kyoto accords to give them a chance to catch up economically before being crippled by the high cost of being environmentally friendly. As if the earth gives a damn whether it's being trashed by the rich or the poor.
