Kick Your Shoes Off And Stay A While

May 9th, 2008 at 8:53 am by Brian

This just brought a smile to my face. State prosecutors have decided to re-try death row inmate Paul House for the 22 year-old murder that he was originally convicted after an intentionally misrepresented Supreme Court ruling gave anti-death penalty activists the chance to let him loose. Killing babies and freeing murderers. Another sash in life’s rich pageant for our commie brethren:

Union County District Attorney General William Paul Phillips has 180 days from Monday to retry House, who has been in prison for more than 20 years. Phillips says he has enough evidence to try the case again and intends to handle the prosecution himself.

The grave defilers have been cheering a splintered 5-3 court decision that only said new DNA might cause a juror to have doubts. At issue is that House raped Carolyn Muncey before killing her. The DNA evidence indicates that semen found on her person belonged to her husband. This theory was not exactly a stretch to come up with at the time since Paul House was on parole for raping two women in Utah and was caught by the police on the roof of a third! Facts that are conveniently left out of the pre-determined narrative of this Innocent Man.

This is their hero. A career rapist. While new evidence may exonerate House for the rape charge, it does not conclude that he did not kill her or attempt to rape her. House was not convicted of rape. It was only used as an aggravating factor in seeking the death penalty. Naturally, his supporters cheerfully continue to exaggerate the Court’s finding that a “reasonable juror could have reasonable doubts” to mean “innocent of all charges”.

It’s not an easy case. House was placed at the scene. His girlfriend at the time busted his alibi of being at her home all night and told police that on the night of the murder that he left and later returned with bruises, scratch marks, and shirtless. Other eyewitnesses spotted him crawling out of a wooded area near the creek where Muncey’s body was found. Muncey’s then 10-year old daughter said a man was calling out to her from the street to come see where her husband’s car had crashed (which hadn’t) in the creek bed.

There are no clear “good guys” here. Only different shades of “bad guys” as Muncey’s spouse was not exactly in the running for a “World’s #1 Husband” mug.

The suddenly fiscally responsible Friends of Felons Support League is decrying the cost of the new trial that they are responsible for foisting on the taxpayers:

Kissinger said the trial would cost more than $100,000.

“You really have to be mystified, perplexed about that decision,” he said. “It doesn’t make sense. How can you justify that kind of money when you have the Supreme Court’s decision?

Indeed. How can we justify our wasteful appeals process? Bunch of tightwads. When was the last time you heard a Defense Attorney say that you should deny justice because it costs too much?

Sorry kids. House should have been executed long before he ever arrived in Tennessee and murdered Carolyn Muncey. Unfortunately, our current anti-justice activists’ predecessors in Utah were already scrawling their appeals on the bruised bodies of rape victims long before House made Tennessee a home.

Even if justice was deferred in Utah it is not being denied now regardless of the new evidence.

20+ years, and the scum-bag is going to get a 2nd crack at the legal system. Dude, not even in Kalifornya do you get this much opportunity to burden the scales.

You’ve seen enough of my posts to see that our state government has been infiltrated by a bunch of these whackjobs.

The state has to take the 2nd crack at him or Satan Claus aka Judge Merritt and his activist lackeys were going to let this murdering rapist back out on the street. Sure he’s got Multiple Sclerosis now and could probably only sexually exploit little children but they told the state to re-try their case or let him go.

It’s good to see somebody making that extra effort to keep the Boot of Justice lodged up this guy’s ass.

  3. Yiddish Steel Says:

Go figure, my man. We both reside in states that pride themselves on protecting the peoples. You there have your “TENNCARE”, and we here have our “MEDI-CAL”. It’s all good, right?!

It’s bad enough that I can actually find a scant amount of sarcasm in all of this considering the circumstances. Tennessee is going to turn Paul House into a Tookie Williams calibur celeb. Your Judge Merritt looks a lot like our former State Supreme Court Judge, Rose Byrd, accept for that small penis or large clitoris that he’s sporting under that robe.

  4. Brian Says:

They’ve been working on his Tookinization process. The story’s been on 60 minutes and gotten nationwide pub.

They show his scraggledy-headed, one bug eye, wheelchair clad, MS wracked visage and wonder aloud “why, this guy wouldn’t even hurt a fly”.

Ummm, no. God just got tired of waiting for the State of Tennessee to dole out justice. I’m picturing a white bearded guy in sandals stomping on a cloud in Heaven screaming “what the fuck are you people waiting on!?!”
