Liveblogging The Eventual Emergence Of The Kids’ Butterflies

Well, they’re supposed to hatch 7-10 days after the formation of their chrysalis.

I guess it’s only been a day or two, so I’ll be sitting here a while. Luckily, I can work from home while I watch the cocoons.

    My son cried so hard when we let ours go (a few years back), he sounded like someone ran over his dog.

    We’ve been collecting tent caterpillars. One hatched from his cocoon last night and we released him.
