I wonder if Obama has ever considered why the US has become the world's greatest super power. It was because we have a govermental, educational, legal, and economic system set up to let citizens create wealth and they have succeeded beyond all expectations. Now there are those who have inherited the fruits of that wealth feel guilty about it and like Obama aren't interested in creating a global worker's paradise. They don't think it possible because of limited resources. Their solution is to take the US down to third world levels out of a sense of "fairness". This goes against all instincts of human nature. I'm sure that there are a lot of Africans who could give a sh*t whether or not we turn of our air conditioners. What they want is the opportunity to put one in their windows. The "cling to guns, God, xenophobia, etc" quote that may have been the initial crack in his not getting the Presidency only became known because Arianna Huffington, one of his biggest (obnoxious) supporters, was not able to effectively vent the post where it became known because she was currently in Tahiti, on 500 ft yacht owned by David Geffen.
